Intel EnergyStar Support ...




Intel lends its support for the new ENERGYSTAR computer specifications issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Intel plans to deliver semiconductors and components that will enable computer suppliers to deliver ENERGYSTAR qualified systems that are compliant with the new specs when they go into effect in mid-2007.  EPA's Version 4.0 Tier 1 specification for computers will go into effect on July 20, 2007 with the intent to differentiate the market for energy-efficient computers.  ...
