Springside School - 5th Place in Earth Day Challenge




Springside Acts of GreenSpringside School - Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia - continues it's green activities by snagging 5th place - in the US - in the Earth Day Challenge.

"Springside School took fifth place—in the country—in the Earth Day Challenge contest sponsored by The Green Schools Alliance, Cisco’s One Million Acts of Green Program, and GreenNexxus.  ... students and faculty logged 2,362 “Acts of Green,” which in turn saved 672,305 lbs. of greenhouse gases. Drexel University to Celebrate Earth Day 2008

In addition to sponsoring a work project in Philadelphia's Fairmont Park they are hosting a "day before event" to learn about "Earth Day and Green Sustainability."
