Starbucks is celebrating EARTH DAY by giving a free cup of coffee if you skip the paper cup .... either bring in your own refillable cup or ask for your coffee in a "for-here" cup.  Either way it is free.  Last year Starbucks had 1.2 million participants !

Springside School - Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia - continues it's green activities by snagging 5th place - in the US - in the Earth Day Challenge.

Earth Hour 2010 is just a few days away.

Earth Hour is a symbolic way of supporting global action for the environment.  For  the lst few years folks all around the globe haves turned off their lights for one hour as a very visible show of support.

Drexel University (Philadelphia, Pa) is getting students, alumni and others involved in Earth Day 2008.

In addition to sponsoring a work project in Philadelphia's Fairmont Park they are hosting a "day before event" to learn about "Earth Day and Green Sustainability."
